Dominique Lewis
Clinical Case Manager
Dominique is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to build resilience, achieve their goals, and improve their quality of life.
Dominique is a Maryland native who is currently in her final year of the undergraduate Social Work program at Salisbury University. Dominique is deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing challenges. Her passion for empowering clients stems from her own lived experiences and academic journey, which have both shaped her understanding of the importance of empathy, advocacy, and resilience in addressing societal inequalities.
With a passion for creating safe and supportive environments, Dominique strives to empower clients to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their personal goals. Intern experiences with Prince Georges County Department of Social Services have honed Dominique’s skills in active listening, cultural humility, and establishing trusting relationships. These experiences have also reinforced a commitment to advocating for vulnerable individuals and ensuring equitable access to resources.
Dominique’s work ethic, adaptability, and empathetic nature make them well-suited for a clinical internship, where they aim to further develop their skills and contribute meaningfully to the agency’s mission. Ultimately, Dominique aspires to become a clinical social worker who provides compassionate care, uplifts clients, and fosters positive, lasting change in their lives.
